Short Bio:

Geraldine Leahy returned to education to study painting with The Open College of the Arts (OCA)/The University for the Creative Arts (UCA). Her practice involves the observation of traces and imprints in the landscape, the marks of natural processes and human interventions. Cross-disciplinary investigations into memory and place inform her work, which is concerned with coastal erosion. She observes the entanglements of manmade and natural materials on the beach and the impact mankind has had on the coastline.
